Natural Lesson Poem by Gabriel Eshun

Natural Lesson

Sugar Cane; Truly
Unmodified in Genetic Constitution
Would ever store its future, where the Tongue’s
Crave for sugar Stops
***
But we Humans, full of starheights of Aspirations
And wearing proud badges of Custodianships
Oftentimes stray from the Door
This sweet truth Drops.
