My World Poem by Ellen frawley

My World

You never realize what you have until it's gone,
Took you for granted thought you'll always be here with me,
Sadly I was wrong,
I never told you what you meant to me,
How I loved you so deeply,
Thought you knew,
That they were only words,
That you felt how I felt,
Now I know how important those little words were to you,
How hearing them would have meant the world to you,
I'm sorry,
Never realised that it tore you to pieces,
In words I was unable to convey,
You were my world,
Now my world is gone away.
