My Sunshine Poem by yellowbell alamanda

My Sunshine

I found myself alone
this rainy morning of June,
watching the days passing by
In this room for so long now,
still here, I'm asking why.
watching the rain drops
counting my tear drops.
And then suddenly,
this rainy morning you showed up.
Filling those empty space
I felt the healing
of those holes in my heart
I felt the ease
I started to reassembled my mind.

Things became surprising
knowing you're there, I'm smiling.
Being with you is like running free,
hearing your voice I found mine, too.
I don't know you
you don't know me
when you asked, I said the truth
I could speak of what I've thought.
I don't care if you do
or don't like me
we don't really know each other
And for me it doesn't matter.

Now that I found you
just like sunshine on my window
you chased away the rain
and washed the bothering pain
you made my sky blue again
now I see things becoming brighter
how I wish on the next day
You're all still there.
