My Passion Poem by Craig Moses Uche

My Passion

Rating: 5.0

Defiance
Of the heart
That leads me from this torrid path
Against all of life's science

Rude Logic
Warring against staid paths
Of torns and thistles
That pulls off my liberal tunic

Truly, the only magic
Of my sober heart
My Soul's unconquerable sweetheart
That makes life's turmoil academic

Fire
That burns the rider and the horse
Truly, the only satire
Of this man bearing a curse

More brutish
Than the strength of bulls
Simply no anguish
More powerful than your pull

No failure
Kills my love for you
My passion, my only allure
Only you make the bristly sun look brand new

My strength
My only courage
Nothing more opiate than your scent
With you I have no regard for my rage

I loose my valor to be at your wavelength
So stay with me
Even when time gains length
And let's never disagree

Stay with me!

Let's make love
With rims of paper
And let every letter state my resolve
To be thy lover

And on this sea of love
Let's sail together
Far, far above
The sight of the promontory

Into your heart
Where I will remain forever
Even after the sands of time restarts
Our love will be far more clever

A good start, flows well with good imagery, keep going.
