My Nemesis Poem by Gordon D Wilkinson

My Nemesis

Standing naked and wild
She looked right inside my eye
Piercing my thoughts
Bludgeoning my will
Demanding my soul, my heart
Unconditionally I surrender
My nemesis, lust
Her victory confirmed
Accepting she takes the spoils
Like a tchotchke, she wears my heart
I know I am lost
Released only to her whim
