My Moments Natural Disaster Poem by Nisha K. Janine

My Moments Natural Disaster

Draped in layers still my body so cold
My skin cringes, bumps appear like a chain reaction, they crawl across my skin
This bag of bones full of anguish and exhaustion
My lip quaking off the richter scale, the seams about to split and let out a cry
My eyes pool of liquid fire dripping down my cheeks
The only sign to the outside world that I am falling apart
I want to run, get far from my reality,
my lust for joy is nothing but a speck it the dust from my rampage
My lungs cringe, having to use my earthly crutch to assist me in my breaths
People around me haven't a clue that my life is breaking, yet I won't admit that I need Help
