My Love Is Wedded, Nothing Can Part Poem by Chukwuebuka Adebayo

My Love Is Wedded, Nothing Can Part

Rating: 5.0

I have told you and again will I say
My love is Wedded, Nothing can part
Glued as sun to the sky, no waves can flay
Mounted as rockstone, no many fast waters can thwart.

I am for you and you are for me
Nothing duo or lonely can twain
The Nile may dry with its greenery,
Trees may lose their flaxs, but our love will ever remain.

In all emotions, don't look at the past
It is black and dark, the devil is there
Don't worry about future or try a cast
My love is a brillant shinning light, my love is at home here.

And if you go on a journey far,
You should know I will be waiting,
Don't stay long, You see how swift the worlds are,
They are loosing out, yet that's the way they are leading.

Lovely poem. A brother in love not small small as we would say in Naija.
