My love for you is like a rose
it desires the summer rain
and petals large enough to conceal
each thorn that causes pain
My love for you is like a stream
that branches to the sea
My love for you is like a flame that burns
through all eternity

My love for you is a valley
where burly winds do not blow
where ill thoughts die and righteous are born
where seeds of life can grow
My love for you is a mountain
it is the immense blue sky
it is the strength that makes me live
and never want to die

My love for you is seeing your face
when I close my eyes to sleep
and dreaming dreams I've never dreamed
My love for you is hearing your voice
in waves of angelic bliss
and dreaming in the peaceful night
your very ardent kiss

My love for you is loving you
like no one can ever do
and wishing like no one ever wished
much rapture for you and me
