My Love Poem by Victoria Dame

My Love

Rating: 5.0

We met when I was so young in heart
Long waves of blond hair and eyes of blue
Yet seldom were we ever apart
What it meant we didn't have a clue

Four years later dressed in long pure white
Sixteen and nineteen were the ages
This was emotional dynamite
We had to take it in small stages

Eight years later a bundle of joy
A sweet little girl whom we adored
Another eight years a little boy
They were our sweet and joyful reward

Now it's almost thirty years later
My love for you could not be greater
