My Lost Flower Poem by Chidori Storm

I have lost in my life
What I like to call
The most beautiful flower
That I loved with all my heart.

She was everything to me
She never gave up on me
She helped through troubles
When no one else could

She always told me
To never give up
And that to give up
You're turning your back on everyone.

Her favorite saying
That always kept me going was
'You try, you fail, you try, you fail,
But your only true failure is when you stop trying'.

She was always happy
And rarely cried
But when she did
I was there to dry her tears.

So now I realize
That no matter how hard I try
To keep her out of my thoughts
I will always fail at that.

So now no matter how hard I try
I will always now that the mistakes I made
Cost me something dear to me
And that one thing is my dear Pennyrose.
