My Long Wait Is Over Poem by Bernard F. Asuncion

M-y long wait is over
A-s my wish is now penned;
R-earranging my regard,
L-et the tedious biding end.
Y-our birthday has come, October twenty-eighth day;
N-ight so lonely has faded into the dark, blue and gray.

H-appiness is what I feel,
E-rasing the boring twilight;
R-ight words are written,
R-apture sets things aright.
E-ven in the midst of rain,
R-ugged wind and vile weather;
A-ll I did was hope and pray, my long wait is over.
