My Life... Poem by Rey Sanidad

In my whole life, pain and misery dwelt in my heart
But the pain in my heart was gone when I met you
Hope and happiness came to me at a glance
Its not that we are together or feel each other
but because of your profound Love, that I can't give.

I thank God to have met you, before my light becomes dim,
My life is back the moment you gave hope, that wiped away
the tears of a broken heart. Thank you for giving me the
will to live a happy life again.

I thought.. you closed the door to your heart, never saw it..
but the window to your heart is open waiting for me to come back.
The candle light you gave, for me to see my way through
was your own love and life, I had not seen..
But..I never knew then, the pureness of your heart.

When the pain in my heart becomes un-bearable..
I thought of giving up my life to fate and to God..
But then you came along and whispered in my ear
'Never despair...I will always be there for you'
So here I am, a happy life and hoping that someday
we shall be together and live a happy life.

Thank you for the hope and happiness that you brought me.
