My Life Poem by albert fernandez

my life in a few moments of time.
my life isn't so normal
it isn't what you think it should be like
my life is full of complications, but on the other hand whos life doesnt?
but as for me...i have so many that they overwhelmed the happiness
so listen to my few words that only last for a minute or two but what i say is really true...

as boy i had to be strong,
i was a warrior.
there to protect and also respect,
feared nothing only power

worries were my thought worries were my would,
and most of the time they still are.
I'm not so ordinary,
I'm not an average kid who played tag or played with animals,
i played with ghosts.

i was weird and continue to be,
but that's not my only secret.
as a boy at an innocent age just about six,
i was taught a game but it was a secret game.
only between me and him.
but it was a game not meant for a child,
it was called 'Hide N' Seek'
also known as molestation

my life is a shadow hidden behind the light.
i hide behind you and i live in your nightmares,
i follow your footsteps,
always near but only to fear reality.
