My Hymn Poem by Chibueze Oscar Osuji

My Hymn

1
All do hail! The poet of a poet
With the mightiest of all muse,
Created the earth within his breath;
Praising him is our use.

2
All do hail! The mosthigh of beings,
High in the highest realm;
With wisdom he created all things
Seas, lands he created them.

3
All do hail! The one who covers-
-Our frail mortal bodies,
Created the flight ave that hovers;
Gi'er of e'erlasting peace.

4
All do hail! We'll shout o'er mountains,
And the sloping hill caps
Through the deserts and greening plains;
Render my psalms with claps.

5
All do hail! To you all fears cease,
As a ravaging fire
Burns my enemies' bowing knees;
With wonders as desire.

6
All do hail! Let all do hail!
Souls of saints, scale upward
To the gate of heaven they'll sail!
To meet our Christ our Lord.
