O darling, you are my heart
Earnestly I seek you
My soul thirst for you
My body longs for you
In a field of roses
As red like the ocre,
Where I find lone love
In your absence.

I have seen you in the gardens
Direct in my cornea
Like the sun rays
And beheld your strength in love
Because your love is better than life
My lips will kiss you.

I will love you as long as I live
And in your soul I will lift up my mind
My soul will get satisfied
My spirit will forget you not
With singin’ lips
I will sing love songs for you
And play my harp, my zither,
Play my lyre around you my love.

On my bed I remember you
Least I sleep
Rarely do I eat nor drink,
The love wine you gave me
When you are not with me.
Because you are my strength
My heart clings to you
For my love for you
Is strong than death.
And your right hand I feel
Upholding me.
With love and loyalty
With trust and determination
I shall never leave you
