My Goddess Poem by Namita Rani Panda

My Goddess

The tinkling of your glass bangles,
So colourful,
that stirs my soul
with their tinkling from dawn till late night
is the tinkling of holy bells from my temple.

The tinkling of your silver anklets,
So enchanting!
So divine!
With their sprinting from the dawn till late night
is the rhythmic bell of my holy temple.

The ringing of your sweet voice,
so melodious,
exquisitely fresh
that's rarely heard still full of care
is the holy chanting of my temple.

My day rises with you,
my night rests with you,
You're my day and night
My sweet heart,
You're the unalterable goddess of my temple!
