My Future Poem by Christopher Yang

My Future

Rating: 5.0

I see my latest blueprint on my office desk.
I thank all my teachers for all the knowledge they passed on to me.
I watch as my children prance around the family mansion.
I admire my coworkers as they help design homes for the poor.
I think about the classes I took at Stanford.
I feel grateful for all the support from my parents.
I smell my wife's cooking filling the kitchen.
I hear the cheers of my coworkers as we finish building an apartment.
I want nothing more than the support of my family.
I touch an old family photo with pride.
I would miss my childhood days.
