My Front Page Poem by kate Emma

My Front Page

im not good looking or nice to look at
im ugly from my head to my toes
but this cover i have is only on the ouside
deep down inside its not shown

please dont judge me by my front page
it may look all horrible and torn
try reading the inside it is so brihgt,
colourful, fun, interesting and warm

just take the time and really look hard
i am such an interesting read
but because no one will look further than the way i look
i have dust piling up all over me

no one will give me a chance
i sit on the shelve all alone
wishing and waiting for the day
that someone will save me and take me home

my front page is not who i am
why cant you all take the time and see
im so worth while on the inside
but instead you all just look right past me

Very good simile. I really like it. People should always look deeper before they judge.
