My Friend Poem by Roger Mallory

You’ve been my friend for a couple of years,
We’ve had a few laughs, we’ve shed a few tears.
We’ve had some fights along the way,
but mad at each other never do we stay.
Over the past few months we’ve drifted apart,
but I want you to know you’ve never left my heart!
I have no answers for the things I do,
Especially when it comes to the way I’ve treated you.
You were there for me when no one was around,
Not once have you ever let me down.
Kaisha your special your one of a kind,
When we were together I must have been blind.
Never did I know how lucky I had been,
Till the day I realized I would never hold you again.
You made me a promise to always be my friend,
That I will cherish till my last day ends.
