My Favorite Doll Poem by jerlyn eguia

My Favorite Doll

the legs are scratched
the arms detached
the hair burnt
the body is deformed
someone put it near
the fire and does not say
a name...

the doll is heartless too
it is good it does not succumb
to anger.
