My Faith Lost Poem by Allyson Gordon

My Faith Lost

Oh how the pain crushes me
Burdened by love and hate I’ll always be
Unable to break free
But I’m still empty

I’ve run out of tears and blood to shed
From all of the lies that you fed
Because of everything you did and said
I’m so hurt, I wish I were dead

These scars I bear on my skin
My heart, my soul, my every sin
Yet I still won’t let you in
My heart you have yet to win

I’ve lost my faith in you
You don’t believe it’s true
But there’s nothing you can do
I’ve lost all respect for you
