My Dream World Poem by Howard Johnson

My Dream World

Rating: 4.9

I build my castles every day....
And tear them down, again in such a way,
And it is quite a wondrous way to play,
When life is hard and full of pain,
I have my world..
My very, very own,
Where I just love to be alone,
For there I sit without a care
And float upon thin, thin air..

This is a gorgeously well-crafted little poem. I love the opening, building castles every day and then tearing them down, such symbolism.
