My Dearest Grandma Poem by Kristy Artmann

My Dearest Grandma

Rating: 5.0

My Dearest Grandma.....

I miss you more than you’ll ever know,

My love each day for you greater grows.

Fond memories of playing yahtzee, skipbo and thousands too,

Recollections surface of you sitting out back on a crate hoeing vegetables and flowers,

Your touch of green thumb produced beauty galore,

And even after the blooms have faded the splendor I adored.

What all else you brought to my life no one knows,

I reminisce your sweet laughter filling the room,

Accompanied by a bright smile that chased away all the gloom.

I await the day I see you again,

As do all of your kin.

I love you Grandma & you are sadly missed! !
