Musical Interludes Poem by Tom Billsborough

Musical Interludes

When I play my keyboard music
Mr Purry goes ballistic
He tries to climb aboard
As I grind out each chord.
It's truly CAT-astrophic!

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Occasionally I get out the keyboard and attempt to play usually
Scottish songs such as the 'Sky Boat song'. Due to my musical incompetence they sound like Dirges. If the cat is about he quickly
puts a stop to this nonsense by climbing up to the table and
standing on the keyboard. He has clearly a far better ear for music
than mine!
