Muse Poem by Richard D Remler

Muse

Rating: 4.8

...................

She breathes in the twilight,
She's fire and soul,
Like a thundering river
All shaded in snow.

She is fair Aphrodite,
She teases the air.
She's a whisper, an angel,
A spirit, a prayer.

She is breath to my spirit,
My ambrosia her kiss.
She is more than my Muse
In a moment like this.

As though interlaced
And entwined,
Our souls live as one.
I am her starlight,
And she is my sun.
