Mothers Choice Poem by William Kofoed

Mothers Choice

There she is

So small

A child

I have to wonder

About her

Her mother

She's tiny thin

But her mother

Grandmother

Has she a choice

Or was it

Her mothers

Made years ago

Chance gone

No choice

Who decides

Who has

The right

I see her

I wonder

I think

Is she free

To choose

Or not
