Mothers Poem by Loyd C Taylor Sr

Mothers

Mothers...
They are so very special,
Gentle sweet and true,
They are such rare treasures,
Gifts to me and you.

Mothers...
They make sure others know
How special you are too
They'll hug you tight any place
And lay a big kiss on you.

Mothers...
They don't fret about your image
Nor reputation fair
They'll let everyone know …
"That's my kid over there! "

Mothers...
They'll squeeze your cheeks gently
Or pull you by the ear,
They'll get your full attention
And make sure you adhere.

Mothers...
What would we do without them?
I surely wish not to know
So, I'll cherish my time with her
"Mother, I love you so."

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
Dedicated to all mothers. My mom was so sweet, kind and tender hearted. She never met a strange, nor did she hesitate taking care on them. May this world be blessed with great moms! Loyd, the simple poet.
