Mother Earth Poem by John Guevarra

Mother Earth

Rating: 5.0

What has thou done?
thou has killeth something so majestic
in thy beauty we seek shelter
in thy heart we seek heat.

now she is dead
her warm love has turned into hatred heat
her frozen tears have melted and
the waters have risen and will continue to rise

now as i watch her sleeping in her coffin
i cant help but cry
why oh why did she die?
she never harmed anything but instead gave life to it.
