Ever since the day we met
A time till now I cannot forget

Your image on my mind every now and then
How I wish you were more than just a friend...

But its too late now, you already got someone
We'll never have more than friendship and innocent fun
My heart crashed down like a setting sun
What could have been us is now reduced to one
The chances of you liking me is none
Though seemingly sad I know I cannot be done

I can no longer be friendly and just pretend
That I don't want you as more than just a friend

The only time that I am happy
Is when that face smiles at me

I fell before and hurt myself
It took awhile for my to get back on the shelf

This time I'll need help from above
Cause its too hard to be around you and not fall in love

On every rating you'd be a ten
Could you ever be more than just a friend?
