Sometimes I wish I was a little more than human.

I wish I can take your pain away.
I wish I could have offered protection
Then things would not be this way.
I wish I could have been more than a shoulder to lean on,
I wish you could have thrown your troubles my way,
I wish I could make them disappear
Then everything will be okay.

I wish I was a little more than human.
Then my friendship would have made more sense that way.
