with brandable crowflies, rifts....

....a light in a corner... spreads soft-suffused umbras...
shows wings and ribs....
......beyond fright and esoterica.....
plays...jocund and terrible...a shadow-dance...
complete with cutouts...
.powdered
open-work.....above the sheets....above the luminous frottagility.....

I'm leaving out the part about the rook......
