So, Ryan Reynolds and Alanis broke up,
and there are still troops in Iraq,
AIDS is killing people in Africa,
Honestly, can you believe that?
The first line is probably more valued,
by your average North American citizen,
Then both other news headlines together.
My mind is actively running, where has yours been?

We're all affected by Global warming,
but we don't find our mistakes meaningful.
James Brown died, millions were in mourning.
Global warming took a backseat to a man of soul.
It's all too common and expected really,
the obesity rate seems to be rising perfectly,
with the lowering of intelligence that is taking place,
right in front of our eyes, for all to see.
