Money Complained Poem by Mcanthony Nwatu

Money Complained

I asked money to have a change of heart
As its new year's resolution
So that the have - not
Will have a portion
And money cried out:

First of all, I am wicked
Secondly, I am fluidal.
Because I am fluidal
I don't go where am needed
I visit where am not needed.
Those who don't need me
Will pay less attention to me
Will be careless and extravagant with me
And will hardly keep me at home.
Like a bird I will have my independence.
I enjoy freedom and likes to travel.
Those who need me I don't visit
Let alone those who need me most.
That is why the needy are always poorer.
They are too protective with me,
As if am a captive, for a long time they hold me.
They are so very careful with me.
No aorta of extravagance.
No breathing space
I am choked, no freedom or independence.
This is why am wicked to those who hold me captive
If am choked,
Like a rat closed up in an empty bowl
I will disturb their minds
With noise and vibrations
Bringing and springing up ideas
About what they can use me for.
Surely they will free me
Unfortunately on something not worth it.

And please am not the root of all evil
It's just that lascivious men
Who sniff after women,
Like a night beast, carry a mind of evil.
They do anything to get what they will.

So that is me.
I like to come as a stranger, not to live.
So, I visit those who don't need me.
It's nothing personal, it's just business to me
So, I have no New Year revolution
My attitude is natural, only nature can change it.
