Momentary Gratification Of The Senses Poem by Dr. Antony Theodore

Momentary Gratification Of The Senses

Rating: 5.0

Momentary gratification
of the senses,
does not satisfy
the deepest needs of a seeker.

Losing oneself in the crowd
by immersing oneself
in the corporateness
of modern civilization
will fail to satisfy
one's inward longing.

Only when one plunges
into the depths
of one‘s own being,
he will begin
to find the sources
to pull his life together.
