Missed Love Poem by Jennifer Woodland

Missed Love

Who do you miss
When you are all alone
Is it the one that first stole your heart
Or is it the one that was always there
Both hurt when you sit and think
You know you can’t have both
You can’t have either actually
Certain songs break your heart
Slowly you drift into a daze
You see both pains
But you can’t chose between them
One hurt you and you hurt one
The one you truly reach for
Is out of your grasp
So you miss him more
But the one in your grasp
You push away
Why push when he loves you
He will take you back never hurt you
It’s not the one you want
The one you want broke your heart
And is now back in your life
So you forget all but him
But soon he will leave again
Then who will you miss.
