Miss Novocaine

Miss Novocaine

Sertsevyy bilʹ

It's clear to me now, as you blankly stare
Into my lucid eyes, you do not feel much.
As someone who is a Phenomenal Lady
Your face is as numb as a newborn baby,
Giggling 'n laughing like a patient sitting
In a Dentists' chair, heart filled with a gas:
Laughing gas, as I explain my love to you
But instead of a reply you sit so confused.
Miss Novocaine, I can't wait, feeling used
I 'Love Everything About You' but if I stay
I fear, in this relationship, I will be the one
To ultimately lose...

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
The best part of falling in love, is realizing you're both compatible. But the worse part of falling in love is when the other person, still loves you, but wants an upgrade.
