Miruna's Eyes Poem by Cane Walker

Miruna's Eyes

She has the eyes of an angel—
They have the power to heal
With kindness radiating from them—
A reflection of the peace and harmony
That her soul does treasure;
Her eyebrows, a thousand times
Lovelier than Mona Lisa's…

Her face is so mesmerizing
With a certain kind of
Mysterious calmness…
Dainty lips slightly curled up
Into a delicate smile,
With cheeks so velvety
And well defined…

She is so fragile—
She is like a china doll;
She is every poet's dream—
His elixir for passivity and grace.

You are, indeed, Miruna,
A blessed child of God.
