the words were coming out of your mouth
&& i thought i was in a dream.
i believed you and i were never going to get a second chance.
i believed that you and i were done and over.

the words i miss you more than anything came out of your mouth and i couldn't believe what i was hearing.
i thought i was becoming impossible for you to feel any emotion at all.

some may call me foolish
some might call me dumb
some could say that i deserve to get hurt now.
but i've realized long ago that i need to focus on what makes me happy
and if this turns out to be a hug mistake then so be it.
everyone deserves a second chance, sometimes you have to lose something to realize how badly you want them.

you could call this random.
you could call this amazing.
you could call this fake.
but the truth is it's nothing short of a miracle.
