Microtheology Poem by Seth Lloyd Norris Thomas

Microtheology

Sometimes I wonder
If I am some sort of cosmic analogy
simply created to show Your bigness.

It is in these moments, I beg—

remember me.

This thought often occurs to me
as I watch the sun slink silently away
while the starry expanse of bright night eyes
commences its gentle glide across the horizon.

You remember Your people,
the Book says,
and Your promises You keep—

But will You remember me?

Lost among Your many-splendored
work of creation, I confess—

I often doubt I am even worth remembering.
