Message To His Lady Poem by Joyce Hemsley

Message To His Lady

Shall we forfeit summer holidays this year
and both give our thoughts to domesticity
which, sadly to say, is well in arrear.
With a little love and ingenuity
'all' can be saved in the cottage of cheer.
Should I cancel our annual cruise on the sea?
Would you agree? Please tell me my dear.
