Merciful Poem by Sanjukta Nag

Merciful

Thousand of excuses they have used
To deny the undeniable truth,
That You are there.
So, I’m still here,
Bound with a loveless bond
In the midst of Your deserted earth.
Impatiently looking for the day,
When the sun in Your eyes will emit darkness
And give birth to apocalypse,
To bury all falsified facts.
But, men will rise
Through the lunar luminescence,
‘Cause You are merciful.
