Memories In The Wind Poem by John Demon Jones

Memories In The Wind

Where the trees are green and the sky is clear.
This is where my heart does lie.
With meadows pure and resting deer.
This is where my heart does lie.
Where the land is rich and the day is long.
This is where my heart may lie.
and in the boughs, the birds give they're song.
This is where my heart may lie.
And nights so bright, the moon does shine.
This is where my heart still lies.
The place where nature shares hers with mine.
This is where my heart still lies.
My heart, my heart.
It yearns for home.
My love, my love.
I'm lost and alone.
