Wind blowing half heartedly
in the woods of skinny trees
Socrates and Descartes
occupying my illogical mind
Why I feel this unknown pain all the time?
when everything seems so perfect
why this unheard sonata of unjust pain
keeps on buzzing in my deaf mind
I am not Ludwig van Beethoven
I’ve never heard Mozart or Chopin
then why and how -
my naïve mind keeps on orchestrating
the poignant opuses of myriad pain
and the soulful melodies of my all-time beloved
death
This life is a symphony of innate heartaches
I being ignorant and emotionally troubled
have fallen in love with this melody of life
called pain

The great philosophers and pianist, the 3 men of my life, simply joined together in this heartfelt poem...to have the sonata of pain, played well in melodious verses...10+++
Respected dr. very beautiful presentation...and the way you knitted the theme with music really appreciable......
As a lover of these classic composers, I think you have put a clever slant on you poem with the pain theme. 'Fallen in love with the melody of life called pain. Very different. Top Marks
Artful profound...life as a whole is a melody of pain...thanks for this well thought out write...10
Very profound.Everything in this world moves to the music. Beautiful write, Dr. Kamran. Warm regards, Sandra
Kamranbhai, Is the melody of pain unbearable? Something you want to wallow in? It is said that the pain sufferer best understands what he/she is suffering from...and how intensely. Mozart (my favorite) , Beethoven, Liszt, Chopin, Paderwerski, Brahms, Handel, Tchaikovsky...etc. are melody masters...of MUSIC. And now...we have...the master of the melody of...PAIN....Kamran Haider.... Now, Kamranbhai, who would you like to share this melody with? ? ? I love this melody, but..oh, so, slowly, so that I can enjoy the pain until it becomes pleasurable... Cheers. Subroto.
this melody of pain is a great expression from inside personality..well done and well written..lines are well arranged and make this poem more beautiful.. naizz
