Dilantha Gunawardana

Melancholia - Poem by Dilantha Gunawardana

Where shadows
Are absent of identity

Where one's reflection
Blends to her sable complexion

Where life is absented
By the concoction of filth and dirt

Where light is a mere onlooker
And ripples are short-lived

The murky waters of Styx
That irrigate
My melancholia

My own living hell..........
