Meadows Poem by G J Salgado

Meadows

Magical secrets when fireflies glow
In a place that only you and I know
Lost in the moment of time as it goes
Scents of flowers upon our noses
Barefoot with the grass beneath our toes
Sacred times without worries or woes
Wading in the creek as it flows
Building a friendship as it grows
So many years passed now shows
Memories never fade I suppose
As I will never forget the meadows
