Maybe Next Year - Lincoln Park Zoo Poem by Ima Ryma

Maybe Next Year - Lincoln Park Zoo

As twenty twenty does begin,
Talini is out and about,
The polar bear leaving her den,
No pregnancy this time, no doubt.
She will be reintroduced to
Big Siku, the male polar bear,
Here at home in Lincoln Park Zoo,
And once again, time they will share.
Together again, time will tell
If a birth of cubs is to be.
Both polar bears get along well,
So could be future family.

A muddy Talini alert -
She does love to roll in the dirt.
