I think maybe I could love her,
Maybe If the time was right?
I could tell her tonight?
When the lights are down,
And she's the only one in sight?
Maybe just maybe
No one else's around?
And she's standing there alone,
In the darkness of the night.
I know now I do,
Maybe I love her, I do.
There's an opportunity to seize here?
I'm sure! An' times like this are rare,
I would suppose?
I could set it all aside,
As pride is for tomorrow! ?
I'm guessing though maybe,
That deep down I hope it shows?
And that she'll get it sooner rather than later?
Maybe if only there wasn't so much to lose here...
