Maybe Poem by Adrianne Quinlan

Maybe

I'm sorry that she's gone,
And that you're sad.
I know that in your heart you're alone…
But be glad.

You shared sweet moments of giggles,
smiles and secret stares.
Let them lie dormant.
Shed no tears.

Let your heart lead you through
Quiet thoughts of what could be.
Let your mind work to heal you,
Leading you to a softer …maybe.

Silently speak her name.
Be thankful she came.
And with time and care
A dying flame burns anew.

And as Always, remember,
I'll be here for you.
