Maya

I stand behind the veils of Maya
Hidden by deceptive thought
Dressed in clothes of your creation
A soul as borrowed
As the love you throw me
I am as you want me
The vapid mind, inside,
An illustrious body

This is how you paint me

This is how you perceive me

I stand behind these veils of Maya
You would not have me any other way
I am the deception
You couldn't help but build
Will you step beyond these veils
Beyond the Illusion
You have placed me in

Beyond your veils of Maya
