May 1st Poem by Hasan Al Mahmud

May 1st

Workers raise up, workers voiced
For the right Pay
Workers fought, workers got
Today's 'May Day'

Workers sacrificed, workers demanded
To remove the injustice away
Whole the world saw, created a law
Now, it's 'International Workers Day'

Still, workers need, they can't even feed
as the families are not okay
World became changed, Justice became dead
Even, we worn ourselves observing the Labors Day
